Are You Pet Owner- It’s A Unique Experience!
Being a pet owner is one of the most rewarding things, which you can have in your life. Studies have proved that pet owners are happier and live longer, as compared to the people who don’t have pets. A pet carries great value in its own sense. In case of pets dogs and cats tend to the most popular choice.
There are some basic differences between these two. Therefore, knowledge about them will help you terrifically, in making an appropriate decision. All the pets have their own personalities
Differences in Personality and Attitude
Pets all have their own personalities. Dogs are pack animals, and because of this, their primary goal in life is to fulfill their role in the family pack. To this end, dogs live to please their masters. You can teach a dog many different tricks, even useful tasks, and they will enthusiastically perform for you over and over again.
Differences in Dependence
Dogs rely on their owners for everything. Your dog will need to be housebroken, and then taken outside. He will expect attention and playtime. As mentioned before, dogs are pack animals. They depend on the other members of their pack to be there for them and to take care of them.
Even a domesticated cat could survive entirely on its own. Your cat doesn’t need you to take time out of your day to entertain him. He’ll find plenty of things to do all on his own. That doesn’t mean that cats don’t enjoy being played with, or that they aren’t entertaining to watch. But, they’re perfectly happy filling their days with important cat things like laying in the window, chasing flies or playing hockey with their food that fell on the kitchen floor.
There really is no best choice when it comes to deciding between a cat or dog. The decision is going to largely depend on your own personality. If you prefer a low maintenance pet that isn’t going to need you for every little thing, a cat makes a great choice.
On the other hand, if a loyal companion is what you’re looking for, a dog may be the better option. Perhaps you’ll choose to have one (or more) of each. No matter what type of pet you choose, your life will be filled with years of love and companionship.
