Animals are more exposed to the outer atmosphere and thereby they are at higher risk of catching infectious and allergic diseases. Many a times you will find your pet itching and scratching, and you would be getting irritated because of the constant scratching of the pet. These are probably the symptoms of skin allergy.

What Causes Skin Allergy?

Although skin allergies in pets can be caused because of several reasons, but most common of these are exposure to grass or greenery and intake of certain food that doesn’t suit it.

Apart from this, pets can catch allergic infections from other animals as well, so be watch off your pet when you take it outside, because filthy and sullied animals often get different types of allergies, and mixing of your pet with such animals can cause it to catch the disease.

Like sometimes back, when we had a cat named “shully” at our home, we were irritated when it suddenly started scratching all the times. 1.    Take care of the eating habits of the pet, and avoid giving it foods with warm effect.

2.    Give bath to the pet with gentle brushing. Use good quality shampoos and soaps.

3.    Clean the place of the pet on daily basis to reduce the chances of the spreading of infection.
