Just like your child your puppy also needs care and attention. If you do not take the initiative to teach your puppy you might end up with an unruly and disobedient dog. This might be the cause of embarrassment in front of neighbors and guests.

Many people try to win the love and respect of their puppies by letting them have its own way. They shower all their love and affection because puppies are always cuddly and soft. It is right to shower buckets of affection but should be tempered at its optimum level.

If you let in every whim of your puppy, it will never learn to be self-disciplined. It will never learn to respect and might end up becoming a lazy dog.
